When Wendy Suzuki Comes to Miami

I love Miami. I believe I live in the best place in the world.

We have great spots for dining, cocktails, pool parties, beaches, arts, and more.

It's amazing and beautiful, but still, sometimes it feels flat and predictable.

That’s why I get so excited when something different happens in our town.

On Saturday January 26th, Warrior Flow in partnership with Innergy Meditation, and UMindfulness at the University of Miami will present world-renowned neuroscientist, author, and TED speaker Dr. Wendy Suzuki for a unique two-hour talk and dialogue at Innergy Meditation in South Beach.

Wendy was already a tenured professor with her own neuroscience lab at NYU and a solid reputation for her research into human memory. Then, a few years ago, she changed the direction of her research to focus on the brain-changing and life-enhancing effects of exercise and meditation.

And that was the beginning of her skyrocket journey to fame. She published a national and international bestseller called 'Healthy Brain, Happy Life,' and delivered a TED talk based on the book that became ranked as the #2 most popular TED talk of 2018, with over 28 million views on Facebook. Now, she has her own PBS special that's airing on stations nationwide.

Wendy and I met many years ago, before she published her book. A warm personality, a committed yoga practitioner, a fitness enthusiast, and a power house speaker, Wendy is one of the smartest people I know.

For anyone in the fields of health, physical exercise, training, wellness, meditation, yoga, or health care, don’t miss the opportunity to see Wendy live and learn where her latest research is heading.

Let’s dive for one night into the fascinating world of neuroscience and learn practical ways we can activate our brains for a happier life.

Wendy’s work is groundbreaking, and with it she is taking the world by storm. This is our chance to hear Wendy's insights into neurobiology, exercise, and mindfulness right here in our hometown of Miami.
