My heart-centered approach is what guides me. I am a therapist. I listen to my client's hearts and not the labels they or someone else have used to describe them.
2- What inspired you, if any, to join the Warrior Flow 200-Hour Yoga Training’s faculty?
I am beyond excited to learn from teachers who also support others from a place of love. Subsequently, I wanted to contribute back in the best way that I can.
3- In simple words, what does yoga mean to you?
4- In your opinion, why is this a key moment in time to learn yoga?
I believe it is crucial to expand through its offering as I now can dedicate my time to this practice.
5- Who would you be without yoga?
Still an awesome therapist, just unable to offer yoga teachings as part of my services.
6- Who were your role models? And what pushed you to learn and become who you are today?
Coworkers: Previous bosses and peers
Family: Mom, dad, and my brother
What has and continues to drive me is my desire to understand why things happen and how I can assist in providing context to them.
7- What were the pivotal roadblocks and challenges you encountered along the way that helped you define your path?
Having to move to this country, leaving my parents/ family behind. Consequently, feeling alone at times as I figured out my next "right" step. Finances also presented a challenge as I had to manage school, work, internship, and life.
8- What can we all do right now to make this world a better place?
Smile at one another. Practice being compassionate and understanding. Gift love always.
